How to set up IPTV on Enigma2 devises?

Welcome to MiraSat Blog. This blog is made to bring you closer to this passion. You will find everything related to the world of internet TV. You will also find there, from time to time, some offers for servers that we will test for you.

What is Enigma2 (linux)?

Enigma is an operating system of STB (Set Top Box) which runs “on” Linux. It was developed by Dream Multimedia to run on STBs such as DreamBox, VU +, ZGEMMA …

Enigma was Open Source which made it a benchmark for all STB running under Linux (VU, Golden Media, Spark, SAMSAT, …). Since 2012, Dream Multimedia savagely stopped the Open Source of Enigma because they noticed that their sales turnover of DreamBox fell in a dizzying way unlike the sales of DreamBox “Clone” and other STB taking advantage of the Enigma system.

Do not panic, the Enigma2 version is still OpenSource but this time maintained by the OpenPli team (http://openpli.org/) for MIPS architectures and by the DuckTales team (http: //en.wikipedia. org / wiki / Wikipedia_talk: Articles_for_creation / Duckbox # Team_Ducktales_.282007-2009.29) for SH4 architectures.

How to add IPTV to Enigma2 devises?

Follow the following steps to display your IPTV playlist among the list of channels on your Enigma2 receiver:

1- Download and install DCC or Putty on your PC

2- Open DCC or Putty

3- Type the name of the host: This is the IP address of your receiver 192.168.1.X

4- Once connected, choose the connection mode: Telnet

5- Enter

6- Enter username and password (user and pass: root)

7- Copy the following command: wget -O /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh “http: // dns: port / get.php? Username = XXX & password = XXX & type = enigma22_script & output = mpegts” && chmod 777 / etc / enigma2 / iptv .sh && /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh

Very important: Your IPTV provider provides you with your m3u link for the channels list. At the link level you will find the information to enter on the linux command. This information is: the dns server “http; // XXXXX”, the port “: XXXX”, the username “username = XXX” and the password “password = XXX”.

8- Paste the order on DCC or Putty ssh

9- Enter / Wait for it to be installed

10- Restart your receiver

11- Go to “Favorites” on your receiver and you should see a new bouquet including your list of IPTV channels.
